Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
